ATTN: The Nation, et al.

The doom and gloom journalistic capitalists need to cease their sad panda death rattlings. Seriously, it's driving me to rage. Start talking about Daniel Goldin and Lanora Hurley instead of writing obits for a living culture.

  1. people have been talking about the imminent death of books since i can remember. put your palmpodberry down and head for the bookstore, debbie downer! i know the person who wrote this has forgotten more about books than i will ever know, which surprises me, since the outlook from that inside perch seems dim. i guess jaded happens to the best of us, but i'm sick of it, too.
